Veteran-Led Recruiting

Built by an Army Recruiter. For Military Medics & Civilian Healthcare.

Valor was founded by Joshua Huchingson, a former active-duty Army healthcare recruiter with direct experience placing transitioning military medical professionals. For 3+ years, Joshua worked the military medical pipeline—he knows exactly where transitioning talent is, how to credential them, and which civilian employers value military training.

Lupe brings HR expertise and Marine Corps background. Together, we're not a generic staffing agency. We're insider recruiters who understand the military-to-civilian transition.

Our Mission

Every clinician who served deserves a civilian role that respects their experience.

Every Military physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, RN, and 68W medic who transitions out of service deserves a civilian role that honors their training and sacrifice. We make that happen — fast, accurately, and with a guarantee. For employers, we deliver mission-ready clinical talent who show up, perform under pressure, and stay.

Our Story

Why Joshua Started Valor

While recruiting for the Army, Joshua noticed something: transitioning military medics and RNs were either overpaying for recruiters who didn't understand military credentials, or getting matched with employers who didn't appreciate their value.

Meanwhile, civilian healthcare employers were struggling to find reliable, security-clearance-eligible candidates with leadership experience and zero turnover risk.

Valor exists to close that gap. Joshua brought his Army recruiting playbook, his relationships across military medical installations, and his credentialing expertise. Now we're filling that job order.

The Valor Standard

Red-carpet treatment meets military-grade quality. Here is what every candidate and employer can count on.

Red-Carpet Treatment

Every candidate and every employer is treated like our only client — responsive communication, proactive updates, and a process that feels personal from first contact to placement and beyond.

Military-Grade Quality

We hold ourselves to the same standards we held in uniform: precision, accountability, and follow-through. Nothing is left to chance, and every detail is verified.

Mission-Driven Systems

Disciplined, repeatable processes — built like an operations plan — keep placements fast, accurate, and backed by a 90-day replacement guarantee.

Service Before Self

We exist to serve those who served. Placing a veteran clinician in the right civilian role is more than a transaction — it's our mission.

What We Do

A full-spectrum recruiting operation purpose-built for veteran healthcare talent and the clinics that hire them.

Permanent Placement

Contingent search for clinics and hospital systems. We source, screen, and present qualified Military medical talent — physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs, and clinical staff — ready to transition to civilian roles nationwide.

Military Transition Program

White-glove support for separating service members: MOS/AOC-to-civilian resume translation, interview coaching, and salary negotiation that turns military service into civilian clinical credibility.

Credentialing & Licensing

Full multi-state licensing and credentialing support so candidates clear board requirements and verifications before their first interview — eliminating delays for employers.

Specialized Medical Sourcing

Deep access to 68W medics, 68C practical nurses, and the full spectrum of Military clinical specialties. We know exactly how military roles map to civilian job descriptions.
